Charles E. Davis

Charles Edward Davis, 67, of Galesburg, died at 6:28 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. Chuck was born September 27, 1954 in Lynwood, CA, the son of Roy Eugene and Barbara Louise (Erickson) Davis. Chuck is survived by his mother, Barbara Davis of Palmdale, CA; his wife, Sheridale (Hopping) Davis of Galesburg; one daughter, Lexi Davis of Galesburg; two brothers, Richard Davis of Santa Clarita, CA and Dale Davis Palmdale, CA; and one sister, Valerie Keogh-Davis of Kingman, AZ. Chuck was preceded in death by his father. Chuck graduated from Cleveland High School in Reseda, CA. After high school he served in the US Army for 8 years. Chuck lived and worked in California, Oregon, Colorado, and Illinois, retiring from Blick Art Materials in Galesburg. Chuck enjoyed being outdoors and felt spiritual when he was immersed in nature. Cremation will be accorded. No services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to K.C.C.D.D.
