Fidencia Interial, 92, of San Angelo, TX, formerly of Galesburg, entered eternal rest at Shannon Medical Center on August 22, 2021 in Texas. Fidencia was born August 6, 1929 in Rodriguez, Coahuila, Mexico, the daughter of Ramona (Valdes) and Manuel Rosales. She married Antonio Interial in Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico on March 12, 1945.   Antonio preceded her in death on July 21, 1989. She is survived by her eight children, Guadalupe Arredondo, Enriqueta (Juan) Medina, Celia (Raul) Flores, Marco (Rosario) Interial, Hector (Patty Galli) Interial, Saul (Denise) Interial, Gloria (Jose) Arevalo, and Carlos (Shelly) Interial. She is also survived by her grandkids Norma (Patricio) Rodriguez, Sylvia (Anthony) Williams, Juan (Alejandra) Medina, Claudia (Carlos) Carranco, Sandra (Dolores) Lopez, Liliana (Michael) Varela, Sonia (Florencio) Lopez, Raul (Marisol) Flores, Alberto (Mariza) Flores, Antonio (Analy) Flores, Marco (Gia) Interial, Julio Interial, Richard (Kayla) Interial, Rosario Interial, Juan Interial, Sophia Interial, Monica Interial, Susana Interial, Rolando Interial, Jose (Diane) Arevalo, Ricardo (Ashley Landin) Arevalo, Sandra (Rodrigo) Rodriguez, Christopher Interial, Kraig (Laura) Interial, Katie (Philip) Bria, Kendall (Megan) Interial, Carley Interial, and 45 great grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers: Eugenio and Jorge Rosales, her sisters: Araminda Guerra, Dolores Aranda, Federica Rosales, her son-in-law Abelardo Arredondo, her grandson Saul Arredondo, and her great-granddaughter Aimee Lopez. Fidencia did not attend formal schooling, but she was incredibly intelligent and hardworking. At an early age, she taught herself how to read and write.  She always encouraged and emphasized the importance of an education.  She took much pride in all her family’s accomplishments.  She carried around pictures of her loved ones and never missed the opportunity to show them off. She was a devout Catholic and a longstanding member of St. Patrick’s parish until about 2010.  Soon after, she relocated to Texas to be with her daughter’s (Gloria Arevalo) family due to an illness.  Fidencia battled Alzheimer’s disease for several years before her passing, but she will be remembered for much more. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan despite her husband Antonio’s love for the St. Louis Cardinals. She had a passion for gardening and had the prettiest flowers and best kept lawn you’d ever seen.  She loved to sew and knit and made beautiful blankets for her family. She was a great cook, and made the best homemade flour tortillas, salsa, and jams. She was the absolute best hostess and loved having family over for the holidays. She made a friend in everyone she met and was loved by so many. She was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed. To have known her is to be blessed.   Visitation will be 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg, with her Funeral Mass following at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.  Father Lee Brokaw will officiate.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg.
