Aaron D. Bollinger

Aaron Dean Bollinger, 56, of East Galesburg, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.

Aaron was born September 22, 1966 in Galesburg, Illinois the son of Bobby Dean and Linda L. (Corbin) Bollinger. Aaron married Wendy C. Wells. She survives. Also surviving Aaron is his mother, Linda Bollinger of East Galesburg; three sons, Nathan Dunne of New London, Missouri, Eric D. Bollinger and Christopher Bollinger both of Altona, Illinois; one daughter, Angelica Bollinger of Williamsfield, Illinois; one grandson, Joshua; one brother, Robert Bollinger of Galesburg; and one sister, Sue (Anthony Miller) Parr of Galesburg. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father on October 11, 2017.

Aaron worked at Maytag for several years until its closure. He went on to work at Hy-Vee in Galesburg at the meat counter and later in the Wine and Spirits. In his free time Aaron enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and cruising around in his convertible Fiat Spider. Aaron also loved comedy. He loved to laugh and tell jokes.

Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the East Galesburg Village Hall, 100 E. First St., East Galesburg, Illinois. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
