Adrian Kory-Johna O'Daniel

“Kory” Adrian Kory-Johna O’Daniel, 24, of Galesburg, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 surrounded by family after a beautiful and challenging journey, in OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. Kory was born April 15, 1993 in Galesburg.  She is survived by her mother, Tracy L. (Donny) Crawley of East Galesburg; her grandparents, with whom she lived, Bill and Rosemary O’Daniel of Galesburg; one brother, Zachary Dee of East Galesburg; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins including her uncle, John (Elizabeth) O’Daniel of Galesburg; and her special friend and cousin, Kaitlyn O’Daniel of Galesburg.  She was preceded in death by her great grandma, Stella Stotler; and an uncle, Ike Stotler. Kory loved music, drawing and writing poems. Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Memorial contributions may be made in Kory’s memory to the Children’s Hospital of Illinois.
