Alice C. Hanrahan

Alice's Video Tribute Alice C. Hanrahan, 97, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She was born on March 24, 1916 in Viola, IL to Harvey and Grace (Horan) Fritch.  Alice was a graduate of the Immaculate Conception Academy in Davenport, Iowa.  She married James M. Hanrahan on May 31, 1941 in Aledo, IL.  She was a homemaker. Alice was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.  She also was a member of the St. Mary Medical Center Auxiliary in Galesburg.  She has resided in Hoffman Estates, IL since 2000. Alice is survived by her daughter, Mariellen Hanrahan, Minnetonka, MN; her son, Michael (late Pat) Hanrahan, Hoffman Estates; and her granddaughter, Erin Hanrahan, Palatine, IL.  She was preceded in death by her husband on November 22, 2001, one brother, and one sister. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home, Galesburg.  Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Galesburg on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10 a.m.  Rev. William Miller, IC will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Viola, IL. Contributions in Alice’s memory may be made to the Corpus Christi Altar and Rosary Society.
