Ande Howard Anderson

Ande Howard Anderson, 49, of Galesburg, died at 4:07 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2011 at OSF St. Mary’s Hospital, Galesburg. Ande was born April 14, 1962 in Bakersfield, California, the son of Oscar and Louise Crawford Anderson.  He is survived by wife, Patti Walton of Galesburg; one son, Ande (and Haylee) Anderson of Galesburg; one step-son, Terin Tompkins of Galesburg; two daughters, Jessica (and Stan) Yenney of Savanna, and Andrea Anderson of Galesburg.  Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Preston, Alee, Hayden, and Kaylen.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Janet Ande attended Galesburg schools.  He had worked as a laborer in construction since he was 16 years old.  Ande enjoyed playing pool, attending car shows with his beloved 1966 Chevy Impala Super Sport, watching the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and spending time with his family and friends.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Watson Funeral Home with visitation being one hour prior.  Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family.
