Ann M. Thomas

Ann Mary Thomas, 67, of Galesburg, died at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021 in the emergency room at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. Ann was born October 3, 1954 in Galesburg, the daughter of Kenneth “Kelly” E. and Agnes L. (Herrin) Theobald.  Ann married Fred A. Thomas on February 16, 1991 in Galesburg.  Fred survives.  Ann is also survived by one daughter, Sylvia Tanzillo of San Angelo, TX; one granddaughter; and four great grandchildren.  Ann was preceded in death by her parents; one son, JoJo Tanzillo; and two brothers, Michael and Mark. Ann worked in retail for many years in Galesburg in Kline’s Clothing, Maverick Corral, Salvation Army, Dollar General, Walgreen’s and People’s Hardware.  She will be long remembered as a loving and good person with a warm heart.  She never met a stranger or an enemy. Cremation rites will be accorded.  Burial of cremated remains will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Galesburg at 11 a.m. Friday, December3, 2021.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
