Anna M. Zeephat

Anna M. Zeephat, 87, of Palm Coast, Florida, formerly of Galesburg passed away on September 28, 2024 at her residence. She was born on May 26, 1937, in Augusta, Illinois to the late Maxwell and Lucille (Dooley) Burton.

Anna graduated from Galesburg High School in 1955. She married James Zeephat on September 30, 1978 and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2009. Anna worked as a Surgical Technician at Roseland Hospital in Chicago for 52 years. Anna moved to Palm Coast in 2013 from Lynwood, Illinois.

Anna was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Palm Coast. She loved working in her garden, traveling, and taking care of her grandson Teddy.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ross of Palm Coast, Florida, and her grandson Teddy Ross; and a brother-in-law, Edward Swanson, Colorado and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, James Zeephat and her sons, Timothy Empson and Theodore Empson; son-in-law, Michael Ross; 1 brother and 4 sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Galesburg Memorial Park in Galesburg, Illinois.
