Barbara F. Winick

Barbara F. Winick, 82, Galesburg, died at 1:26 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Seminary Manor, Galesburg. Barbara Sally Feldhuhn was born on January 17, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Paul and Bertha Stein Feldhuhn. She married Lester Winick March 20, 1949 in New York City. In 1953 the couple moved to the Chicago area where they raised their family. In 2003, they moved to Galesburg, Ill. Barbara devoted her life to her husband, their children and grandchildren who all survive her: Norm and Christine Eik Winick of Galesburg, Diane and Lonnie Graul of Carmel, Ind. and Andy and Sherry Winick of Deerfield, Ill. Her grandchildren who will greatly miss her are Ben Winick of Chicago, Ill, Keith Graul and Leslie Graul both of Carmel, Ind, and Dylan Winick of Deerfield, Ill. Cremation has been accorded. You are welcome to join us for a casual get together and some food and drink to celebrate the life of Barbara Winick at Olyve's Martini Bar, Galesburg, Ill., on Sunday, June 14, 2009 from 1-4pm.
