Beatrice Marie Davison-Samuelson, 94, of Galesburg, died at 6 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2010 at Marigold Health Care Center. Beatrice was born on February 10, 1916 in Henderson, the daughter of Will and Ella Murray Shea.  She married Forrest Davison in 1939.  He preceded her in death in 1944.  She later married Phillip Samuelson in 1954.  He preceded her in death in December 1985.  She is survived by a son, Robert (Mary Helen) Davison of Galesburg; a daughter, Janet Eagle of Henderson; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by 3 sisters, Arlene (Tootie) Winbigler and Kathryn Lee both of Little York, and Helen Pendergast of Galesburg.  Her dog Buffy also survives.  She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Beatrice graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1934.  She worked for Outboard Marine in the parts department for 30 years, retiring in 1975.  She was a member of IAM Union 1659 and Moose Lodge #880.  Beatrice was a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and a member of the National Catholic Society of Forresters.  She was a member of OSF St. Mary’s Auxiliary, bowled on a senior bowling league, and golfed in a Bunker Links golf league. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Msgr. Ernest Pizzamiglio officiating.  Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home, where the rosary will be prayed at 8:30 a.m.  Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church or OSF St. Mary’s Auxiliary.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg.
