Benigno H. Orozco

Ben Orozco passed on Jan 1, 2020 at home with his wife by his side. Ben was born February 13, 1940, in Fresnillo Mexico, to Maximino and Flora Orozco. Ben married Paula Sanchez at St. Patrick’s Church in Galesburg on February 12, 1961. He was known to friends and family as the Carpenter because there wasn’t a house, car, or project he could not fix. Ben also loved weight lifting and driving around in his black Monte Carlo for the world to admire. Ben retired from Maytag after 30 years of service. Ben is survived by his wife Paula of 58 years. Four brothers;  Jose Luis Galvan of Texas, Joe Ojeda, Manuel Ojeda and Andy ( Delores) Orozco of Galesburg. Mary (Mark) Johnson and Hope (Tony) Padilla of Galesburg.  Ben was preceded in death by both his parents & his sister Antonia Padilla.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
