Bernard Michael Dougherty, 74, of Galesburg, died at 10:28 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Allure of Knox County, Galesburg.
Michael was born August 24, 1948 in Galesburg, the son of Paul Patrick and Mary Frances (Besser) Dougherty.
He is survived by two brothers, Bob Dougherty of Mission Viejo, California and John Dougherty of Springfield, Illinois; and two sisters, Mary Cokel of East Moline, Illinois and Helen Kilby of Galesburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ed Dougherty.
Cremation has been accorded. Private burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery, Galesburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
