Betty (Hroziencik) Brown

Betty M. (Hroziencik) Brown, 96, of 345 Dudley St. Galesburg, died at 9:42 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008 at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center. Betty was born on March 29, 1911 in Lehigh, Iowa, the daughter of John Kadubec and Emily Klacek. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Hroziencik in 1951, and by a great grandson Robbie Logsdon in 1991. Betty is survived by Robert (and Norma) Hroziencik of Galesburg, Betty Logsdon of Gerlaw, Patricia (and Lynn) McKeown of Galesburg, and Ronald (and Rosemary) Hroziencik of Hollywood, CA. There were 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Betty lived most of her life in Galesburg surrounded by family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Watson Funeral Home, services to be conducted by Bryan Elliott from Canton. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg.
