Bobby L. Zimmerman

Bobby Lee Zimmerman, 42, of Galesburg was pronounced deceased at 6:40 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 in rural Galesburg. Bobby was born October 24, 1977 in Canton, the son of Burton Lee and Julie Maxine (Cassel) Zimmerman.  He married Stephanie Ann Guerin on January 21, 2010 in Galesburg.  She survives.  Bobby is also survived by his mother, Julie Porter of Galesburg; one son, Bryson Zimmerman of Galesburg; two daughters, Brittany Zimmerman and Destiny Zimmerman both of St. Louis, MO; and three grandchildren, Amari Zimmerman, and Rylan and Madeliene Timmons.  He is also survived by two brothers, Shane (Carrie) Danner of Roseville and Burton (Susan) Zimmerman of Philadelphia, PA; one sister, Jacinda Zimmerman of Galesburg; a step son, Mitchell Guerin of Galesburg; and a daughter, Morgan (Dylan) Timmons of Colorado Springs, CO.  He was preceded in death by his father on May 29, 2020. Bobby was currently working for Jim Hawk Truck and Trailer as a diesel mechanic.  In his free time he enjoyed drinking beer, riding his Harley Davidson, and working on cars.  Bobby also loved hanging out with his best friend David (Danielle) Blackett. Cremation will be accorded.  No services are planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
