Brenda Ann Alaniz

Brenda Ann Alaniz, 43, of Galesburg, died on Monday, December 25, 2017, 11:10 am, at her home. Brenda was born on September 20, 1974, in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of Koy and Connie White. She married Jose Alaniz in Garland, Texas in 1994. They later divorced. Brenda is survived by her mother, Connie of Heath, Texas, a daughter, Britany Alaniz, and a son, Nicholas Alaniz, both of Galesburg, a brother, Rodney White of Heath, Texas, and a granddaughter, Tracy of Galesburg, and a grandbaby on the way. She was preceded in death by her father, and a grandmother. Brenda worked as a hostess at restaurants when she lived in Texas and around here locally. She was die-hard fan of playing BINGO, and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She had a witty sense of humor and will be greatly missed by those who love her. Per Brenda’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
