Brian Lee Maynard

Brian Lee Maynard, 51 of Galesburg, died at 1:40 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at his mother’s residence.  Brian was born April 15, 1960 in Terra Haute, IN the son of Trella (Daughtery) and Richard Maynard.  Brian is survived by his mother, Trella of Galesburg; 3 brothers, Grant (and Irene), Hans, and Ray all of Austin, TX; and a sister, Candy (and David) Holder of Austin, TX.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  Brian was preceded in death by his father, Richard in December, 2005. Brian worked for Morton Manufacturing as a tool and dye maker.  Brian was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the National Wildlife Turkey Federation (NWTF). Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday (April 19, 2012) at Watson Funeral Home.  Rev. Kirk Kendall will officiate.  Burial will follow in East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
