Bridget M. Crouch

Bridget Maureen Crouch, 61, of Galesburg, died at 7:53 a.m. Friday, October 26,2018 in the ER at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Bridget was born November 2, 1956 in Galesburg, the daughter of Kenneth LeRoy and Miriam Agnes (Scott) Moran. She married Robert Leo Crouch, Sr. on June 9, 1978 in Galesburg. Bridget is survived by one son, Robert Crouch, Jr. of Ina; three sisters, Kristine Fredericks of Galesburg, Pamela (David) VanErstevelde of Galesburg, and Debra Payton of Des Moines, IA; and two brothers, Raymond (Blanca) Moran of San Antonio, TX and Shawn (Margaret) Moran of Atwood, TN. Bridget was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob on February 2, 2010. Bridget had a long working career in Galesburg, most notably working at Butler Mfg. and as a cook at Knox College until her retirement. In her free time Bridget enjoyed embroidery and collecting many different knick-knacks. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg with funeral services following at 2 p.m. Her niece, Crystal Hunnicutt will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Private family burial of cremated remains will be next to her husband at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorials may be directed in Bridget’s memory to the Knox County Humane Society.
