Catherine L. Healy

Catherine L. Healy, 98, of 2810 Apple Tree Court, Waukesha, WI, formerly of Galesburg, died at 9:10 p.m. on September 10, 2006 in Waukesha.   She was born on December 28, 1907 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Alfred and Rose Gallagher Lehman.  She married L.J. Healy on August 8, 1936 at Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth.  He died on March 21, 1984.   Surviving are one son John C. (Jackie) Healy of Waukesha, WI; one daughter Melinda Green of Roseville, IL; 4 grandchildren:  Deb Green of Springfield, MO; Joan Green of Albuquerque, NM; Jessica (Jason) Skudlarczyk of Waukesha, WI; and Jim Healy of Grand Rapids, MI.  Also surviving is one great grandson Brenden Dix of Albuquerque, NM.  She was preceded in death by one brother Al Lehman.   Catherine graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Monmouth.  She worked for Bankers Life Insurance, Midwest Credit, and also worked for State Representative Sam McGrew.  She was a member of St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha and its Christian Women.  Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday September 16, 2006 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Galesburg, with the Rev. Ernest Pizzamiglio officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Friday at Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg, with the rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. or to Immaculate Conception School in Monmouth.
