Charlotte Charlotte M. Alfaro, age 58, of 218 Lombard, Galesburg, died at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday June 8 at home.   She was born on September 11, 1947 in Galesburg, the daughter of Ray and Carmen Perales Alfaro. Charlotte is survived by her mother of Carmen of Galesburg, 2 sons: Phillip (Alicia) and Michael Alfaro both of Galesburg; 1 daughter Victoria Alfaro of Galesburg.  She is also survived by 3 brothers:  Ruben (Marvelle) and Steven (Sherry) Alfaro both of Galesburg, and Raymond (Kaye) Alfaro of Las Vegas, NV; 7 sisters:  Vivian Burwell of Kewanee, Pauline (Bob) Lucas of Las Vegas, NV, Susie (Doug) Parker of North Las Vegas, NV, Mary Gaddy of Gray’s Summit, MO, Rachel (Miguel) Guzman of Rockford, Carmen Alfaro of Las Vegas, NV, and Frances (Mike) Livingston of Surprise, AZ.  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.  Charlotte was preceded in death by one brother Richard.   Charlotte graduated from Galesburg High School in 1965 and then graduated from Selans Beauty College in Chicago in 1968.  She worked as a beautician for many years working at Prim Rose, Charlotta’s, Hair Plus, and last working as a beautician at Seminary Manor.  She also had worked part time in the café at K-Mart and as a clerk at the Dollar General.  Charlotte spent many years working as an election judge.  She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.   She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her elderly friends.  She also enjoyed classic movies, shopping, music and cooking.  Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday June 16, 2006 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Joseph Presley officiating.  Visitation will be on Thursday June 15 from 5-8 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home, with the rosary being prayed at 8 p.m.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family.
