Clell L. “Mose” Stufflebeem, 75, of Galesburg died at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1938 in West Grove, IA to Milo and Lucille Wages Stufflebeem. Mose is survived by his daughter, Christine Stufflebeem of Iowa; three brothers, Cleon of Galesburg, Charles and Carldean both of of Ottumwa, IA; three sisters, Carolyn Dearborn and Carol Johnson both of Bloomfield, and Charlotte Surber of Galesburg; a half brother, Mikey, of Ottumwa, IA; a half sister, Sandra Marks of Florida; a stepbrother, Larry of West Virginia; two stepsisters, Linda Fitzsimmons of Agency, IA and Peggy Stanton of Bettendorf, IA; as well as two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Phil and a daughter, Neena Marie Stufflebeem. Mose will be remembered as a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears, and for how he enjoyed fishing with his brother-in-law Pete. He worked for twenty-five years for Templeton Roofing. Cremation has been accorded and Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements for the family. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory. Reverend Bob Wakefield will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will take place in the spring at Taylor Cemetery in rural Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Square Gospel Church.
