Clifford A. Pumfrey

Clifford A. Pumfrey, 88 of 2345 N. Seminary St., Galesburg, formerly of Cameron, died at 1:52 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2008 at Seminary Manor, Galesburg. Clifford was born on July 26, 1919 in Knox County the son of Arthur and Jessie Halsey Pumfrey. He married Marjorie Helen Davis in 1949 in Morrison, Illinois. She preceded him in death in 2000. Surviving Clifford are a son, Donald of Gilberts; 2 brothers, Walter of Galesburg and Herbert of Raleigh, MO; and 2 sisters, Elsie Holt of Altona and Eleanor Freeburg of Henderson. Clifford owned and operated his farm in Cameron for over 40 years. He was a member of the Farm Bureau, McDonough Co-Op and Coldbrook Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
