Conrad And Frances Gibbemeyer

Frances Gibbemeyer (Cokel)  passed away November 6, 2018, preceded in death by husband Conrad Gibbemeyer who passed away April 7, 2018.    They were graduates of Corpus Christi High School in Galesburg. Following graduation, Con proudly served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. Upon his return from service Con and Fran were married September 3, 1960 at Corpus Christi Church in Galesburg.  They were married 58 years.After living numerous places throughout the United States, they spent their last 21 years in Minnesota to be near their 5 Granddaughters whom they adored, Jordan and Emma Granowski and Lauren, Danielle and Hannah Gibbemeyer.  They are survived by Son and Daughter-in-law Daniel and Marie Gibbemeyer and Daughter and Son-in-law Nancy and Chris Granowski all of St Paul, MN   Also Bernie and Lawana Cokel, Don and Judy Cokel and Mary Cokel They were pre-deceased by parents, AJ and Blanche Cokel and Conrad and Nellie Gibbemeyer, Sister Patricia Cokel and Brothers Jack Cokel and John Gibbemeyer, Sisters-in-law  Marcia Cokel and Willa Gibbemeyer.   A memorial mass will take place Saturday June 8 at 9:30am at Corpus Christi Church. Followed by a graveside prayer service at St Joseph’s Cemetery in Galesburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
