Corey N. Engle

Corey Nathan Engle, 36, of Knoxville, died Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Galesburg. Corey was born November 15, 1985 in Neptune, NJ. He married Tammy Ann Duerre in 2011 in Edwardsville, IL. Tammy survives of Knoxville. Corey is also survived by one daughter, Lilith A. Engle of Goleta, CA; one brother, Jeremy Engle of Santa Rosa, CA; two aunts, Diana Engle of Silver Springs, MA and Gina Skinner of Eatontown, NJ; two uncles, Mike (Kendall) Engle of Galesburg and Mitch Engle of Providence, RI; and numerous cousins. Corey was preceded in death by his mother, Denise Ann Engle in 2007. Corey was a talented musician. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking, target shooting, and roller blading. Corey also enjoyed playing video games. He had big and bright personality and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He cared about others deeply. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
