Curtis E. Griffith

Curtis Edward Griffith, 66, of Galesburg, died Friday, June 26, 2020 at home. Curtis was born April 21, 1954 in Galesburg, the son of Loran E. and Florence H. (Jones) Griffith.  He is survived by one son, Dustin Griffith of Williamsfield; two daughters, Angie (Patrick) McCarthy of Cameron and Katrina Griffith of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Sharon Downard of Oquawka and Sandy Burkhalter of Galesburg; and two grandchildren, Max and Molly McCarthy.  Along with his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by one grandson, Tyson Twitchel.  Curtis was a truck driver for many years, also working at Crop Production Servics and FS.  He was last working as an owner/operator of tow truck and repossession company.  Curtis loved spending time outdoors, whether it be fishing on the Mississippi River, mushroom hunting, as well as deer, turkey, and duck hunting. Cremation rites have been accorded.  No services are planned.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
