Cynthia Corral, age 44, of 1018 S. Cedar St, Galesburg, died at 2:29 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. She was born March 12, 1961 in Emporia, Kansas to Alfonso and Adelita Pantoja Interial. She married Antonio Corral on December 3, 1983 in Galesburg. He survives. Surviving is her mother of Galesburg. Also surviving are two sons, Kristian and Brandon Corral and a daughter, Ariana Corral, all at home. She is survived by three brothers: Jaime Interial of Abingdon, Michael Interial of Rock Island, and Sergio Interial of Chicago as well as a sister, Irma (Stan) Interial-Olson of Galesburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Lee Interial. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1979 and attended nursing school at Carl Sandburg College. She was a surgical nurse for Drs. Casper and Bobofchak. She worked as a nurse for Cottage Hospital, the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation and in various area nursing homes. She was working at KCCDD at the time of her death. She served on the Committee to Save Cooke School. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Watson Funeral Home, where a rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to an education fund established for her children at F&M Bank or to the American Heart Association.
