Daniel Banchak, 82, of Galesburg, died at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, Galesburg. Daniel was born July 24, 1933 in Chicago, the son of Michael and Ann Yurcsisin. They both preceded him in death. While living in Galesburg, Dan attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Visitation will be 10:30-11 a.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Deacon Michael Crummer will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
