David "Bubba" L. Johnston

David L. “Bubba” Johnston, 24, of Galesburg, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009 at 239 Cottage Ave., Galesburg.   He was born September 1, 1985 in Galesburg, the son of Steven and Carol Beatty Beverly.  Surviving him are his Mother and Father Steven and Carol of Kankakee; his son, Jaidon; his step daughter, Symone; two sisters, Paula Johnston and Sara Beverly.  Also surviving is 3 nephews, one niece, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.   He was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church.  He enjoyed spending time with his children, family, and friends.  David was a self employed handy man, and enjoyed helping others.  He cared about many.   Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Four Square Gospel Church, with Pastor Bob Wakefield officiating.  Memorials may be made to the family in care of Pastor Bob Wakefield, Four Square Gospel Church.
