Delores Henry

Delores Henry, 78, of 1075 Paradise Acres, Galesburg, died at 1:10 a.m. on Monday, April 05, 2010 at her daughter’s home in Groveland. Delores was born in July 14, 1931 in Galesburg, the daughter of Floyd and Vera Adams Brittingham.  She married Lewis Henry on November 26, 1950 in Yates City.  He preceded her in death on November 7, 2002.  Surviving Delores is her daughter, Marci (Rick) Hogan of Groveland; a brother, David (Karen) Brittingham of Galesburg; a sister, Vivian (Bob) Cooley of Galesburg; and a granddaughter, Alexis Hogan.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis and a brother, Gene Brittingham. Delores was president of Gale Credit Union in Galesburg for 40 years, retiring in 1993. She was of the Methodist faith.  Delores enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Alexis and her nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday at Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg from 6-8 p.m.   Memorials may be made to Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center, Galesburg.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg.
