Diane Elaine Stone

GALESBURG --- Diane Elaine Stone, 62, of Galesburg passed away at 5:40 p.m. Monday, June 30 at her home. She was born September 26, 1951 in Peoria to parents Donald E. and Dorothy Sebastian Thomson. She married Gene Stone on April 11, 1970 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altona. He survives. Diane is also survived by her parents, Dorothy and Donald Thomson; her son, Scott Stone of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her daughter, Shelley Stacey of Sterling; five grandchildren, Dustin Watts, Josh Watts, Ariel Stacey, Jasmine Stone, and Jett Stone; her brother, Randy Thomson; and three sisters, Sheri Wood, Virginia Verscheure, and Linda Torbert. A memorial service for Diane will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 7 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altona. Pastor Tim Anderson will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family.
