Donaelle "Donna" L. Funaro

Donaelle “Donna” Funaro, 69, of Galesburg, died at 10 a.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at27 Oak Pointe Ct., Dahinda. Donna was born on July 26, 1938 in Peoria, the daughter of Warren E. and Margaret B. Gavin Colvin. Surviving Donna are a brother Chris Colvin of Galesburg; 3 sisters, Karen Story of Dahinda, Jackie Currey of E. Peoria, and Patricia Roling of Galesburg. Donna graduated from Galesburg High School in 1956. She graduated from nurses training in 1988 and received a BS in 1992. She was a Geriatric Nurse, Administrator, and Director of Nursing for 20 years at Midwest Care Center, last being employed in July 22, 2006. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2007 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Galesburg. The Rev. Ernest Pizzamiglio will officiate. Visitation will be a half hour prior to services at the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum, Peoria. Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg is handling arrangements.
