Donald H. Beuster

Mr. Donald H. Beuster, 87, of Galesburg, formerly of Kewanee, died at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg. Don was born February 23, 1926 in Kewanee, the son of Henry E. and Lillian Irene (Fuerst) Beuster.  He married Goldie Nichols in 1976 in Galesburg.  She preceded him in death in 1992. Don served in the US Navy for 2 1/2 years, being stationed in California.  He worked at Admiral as a lineman for 30 years, retiring in 1985.  Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on vehicles.  He was of the Lutheran faith. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home, Galesburg, with a graveside service to follow at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Kewanee, IL.  Rev. David Schweppe will officiate.
