E. Roena Dilts

E. Roena Dilts, 89, of Knoxville, formerly of Bushnell, died at 2:32 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Cottage Hospital, Galesburg. Roena was born on June 26, 1920 in Abingdon, the daughter of Frank and Audria Simpson Smith.  She married Clifford Dilts, he proceeded her in death in November 25, 2004.  Surviving Roena is a son, Larry Dilts and a daughter, Judy Fling both of Englewood, CO; sister Arlene Foster of Springfield; and 8 grandchildren. Roena had worked at the Rock Island Arsenal during WWII, the Blue Bell in Abingdon, and Gale Products in Galesburg for many years. Graveside funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2009 at Bushnell Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Watson Funeral Home, Galesburg.
