Eric B. Mosley

Eric Brian Mosley, 57, of Macomb, passed away suddenly on June 14, 2022 due to sepsis-a reaction to an infection that leads to systemic organ failure. Eric was an artist, a storyteller, a lover of martial art movies, and all things Bruce Lee, seventies muscle cars, and his ultimate passion-weightlifting. After three years at Western Illinois University, he relocated to Los Angeles, California and accomplished his goal of training with the pro lifters at Gold’s Gym in Venice. A mental health crisis landed him back in the Midwest, where he spent his last years residing with his mother and eventually Roseville Rehabilitation Center where he was affectionately known as “The Movie Star.” Eric is survived by his mother, Sandra Mosley of Macomb and his sister, Faith. He will be missed. Cremation has been accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
