Evan W. Weedman

Evan William Weedman, 18, of Galesburg, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the emergency room at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Evan was born October 27, 1998 in Galesburg the son of Casey E. Weedman and Nicole M. Scott. Evan is survived by his mother, Nicole (Charles) Garrett of Galesburg; his father, Casey (Danielle Hyatt) Weedman of Galesburg; his maternal grandparents, Bill and (Janita) Scott of Galesburg; one brother, Benjamin Garrett of Galesburg; and two sisters, Liberty and Justice Garrett both of Galesburg. He is also survived by a step sister, Alyssa Hyatt of Galesburg; and a step brother, Logan Hyatt of Pekin. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sandra and Ed Weedman. Evan was currently a senior at Galesburg High School. He loved playing the drums, video games, and hanging out with his close friends. Private family services will be held. Cremation rites will be accorded. No public services will be held. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory.
