Frances M. Bradford

Frances Margaret Dunn Bradford, 95, of Galesburg died at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday, June 07, 2011 at Seminary Manor.   She was born on September 2, 1915 in Hustonville, Kentucky the daughter of Charles and Della Hoagland Dunn.  She married Lester A. Bradford.  She is survived by a son, John L. (and Marion) Bradford of Brentwood, MO; and a daughter, Nancy (and Thomas) Sims of Kirkwood, MO.  She is also survived by her loving feline companion, Sweetie.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Deborah, and a son, Robert.   Mrs. Bradford was a long time employee of the Bondi Corporation and a well known fixture at the Bondi Building in Galesburg.  She also worked for many years at the McGill Insurance Agency.  She ended her career at age 86.  The family wishes to offer many thanks to the staff and caregivers of Woodridge Assisted Living Center and bounce Back at Seminary Manor.   Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Watson Funeral Home.  Funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Galesburg Rescue Mission.
