Frank C. Theobald

Frank Carl Theobald, 68, of Galesburg, died at 2:08 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2020 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. Frank was born January 20, 1952 in Galesburg, the son of William Carl and Velma Marie (Delawder) Theobald.  Frank married Junie Laraine Dumse Early on December 23, 2006 in Galesburg.  She preceded him in death on May 7, 2012.  Frank is survived by two sons, Christopher and Robert Theobald; one brother, Ron (Darlys) Theobald of Cameron; one sister, Becky (Kent) Bowton of Galesburg; and three grandchildren.  Along with his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by one sister.  Frank was of the catholic faith.  He worked as a carman for Burlington Northern Railroad for several years.  He later worked as a mechanic/driver for Randall Bus Lines until his retirement.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial family graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Galesburg, with Deacon Michael Crummer officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
