Franklin D. Wall, 80, of Galesburg, IL, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at his residence. Frank was born on February 28, 1941 in Galesburg, the son of Ora and Nellie (Rigg) Wall. He married Bernice Adams on June 19, 1962 in East Galesburg. He is survived by a son, F. W. “Toby” (Julie) Wall, Galesburg; a daughter, Tamara “Tammy” Wall, Galesburg; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Frank is also survived by a bonus son, Jimmy L. Lamb, Branson, MO; a brother, Lloyd (Penny) Wall, Valley View, TX and a sister, Judy Wall, Matagorda, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Adam Chester Wall; and brothers, Albert G., Jerry and Everett Wall. Frank graduated from Burlington, IA High School. He worked at Unocal in Los Angeles, CA for several years, then decided he wanted to be a commercial fisherman and bought a boat in and fished in Long Beach, CA. He later moved to Texas to build a home for his brother-in-law. Frank loved fishing, woodworking, playing cards, especially cribbage with Jeff. He enjoyed gardening and canning with Tammy and Bernice. Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at 720 Michigan Avenue, Galesburg on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 2:00 - ?? Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or the charity of the donor’s choice in Frank’s honor.
