Guynith Louise Lundburg, 83, of Galesburg, formerly of Oneida, died at 3:11 am Monday, September 18, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Guynith was born October 15, 1933 in Dahinda, the daughter of Hubert and Gladys F. (Lechleider) Hodges. She married Donald C. Lundburg on December 30, 1955 in Cambridge. Guynith is survived by her husband of 61 years, Don of Galesburg; one son, Dustin Lundburg of Galesburg; two daughters, Jackie Lundburg of Galesburg and Karen (Tom) Kelly of Galva; as well as two grandchildren, Seth (Donel Samuel) Kelly of Boston, MA and Sierra (Frank White) Kelly of Chicago. Guynith is also survived by three sisters, Verla Wexell and Doris Keeney both of Galesburg and Inez Miller of Burlington. Along with her parents, Guynith was preceded in death by two brothers, LeRoy and Gerald Hodges and one sister, Ila Olin. Guynith graduated from Williamsfield High School and worked at Meadow Gold Dairy making cottage cheese and ice cream. She also worked as a prep cook at Club 19 and retired from J.C. Penney. Guynith and Don also owned and operated the Oneida Laundromat and Oneida Small Engine Service. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Randy Hroziencik will officiate. Burial will follow in Oneida Cemetery, Oneida. Memorials may be directed in Guyniths memory to K.C.C.D.D.
