Heidi L. Eaves

Heidi Lynn Eaves, 37, of Galesburg, Illinois, died Saturday, April 20, 2024 at UIC Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.

Heidi was born March 18, 1987 in Galesburg, the daughter of Hank Eldon Beaty and Tammy Sue Eaves. Heidi is survived by her mother Tammy of Galesburg; her three children, LaM’ya JaNah Summerville and Jerry Nial Summerville of Galesburg, and Willie “Boogie” David Lawal of Knoxville, Illinois; her fiancé, Dustin Richardson of Galesburg; maternal grandmother, Lynda Eaves of Galesburg; one brother, Robert A. Fensterer of East Peoria, Illinois, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Heidi was preceded in death by her angel baby; father, Hank; maternal grandfather, Charles K. Eaves; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Patricia Beaty.

Heidi worked various jobs in Galesburg, last working in the bakery at Wal-Mart. In her free time, Heidi enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and camping. She loved to support her children in all their activities and enjoyed cheering on Boogie’s travel baseball team.

Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2024 at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the benefit of her children or to Xtreme Baseball.
