Helen C. Bunch

Helen Christine Bunch, 89, of Rio, IL, formerly of Clinton, TN died at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday June 25, 2006 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. She was born on January 17, 1917 in Rogersville, TN the daughter of William Henry and Mary Ellen Walsh Edmondson. She married Reese O. Fields on January 3, 1942 in Greenup, KY. He died in March of 1957. She then married T.J. Bunch on Aughtust 13, 1965. He died in March of 1982. Surviving are 2 daughters: Anna Jeannine (Joseph Phillip Lee) Fields of Louisa, VA and Amy Gwile (Marvin Lewis) Willett of Rio, IL. 2 grandsons: David and Kyle. She was preceded in death by one brother and 3 sisters. After graduating from high school and beauty school Helen worked as a beautician in the LaFollette, TN area for many years. She belonged to the Home Extension Group in the Galesburg area and in Clinton, TN. Helen was of the Methodist faith. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday June 29 at Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Powell, TN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, Powell, TN. A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 2 at 2 p.m. at the Rio Presbyterian Church, Rio, IL. Watson Funeral Home of local arrangements.
