Helen C. Malley

Helen C. Malley, 87, of Galesburg, IL died at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center, Galesburg, IL.   She was born on October 20, 1919 in Galesburg, the daughter of William H. and Lillian Cassidy Farrell.  She married William “Bud” H. Malley on April 24, 1946 in Galesburg.  He died on October 18, 2005.   Helen is survived by one son Charles (Judy) of Galesburg, and one daughter Helen (John) Baie of Sun City West, Arizona.  Also surviving are 5 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.  Helen was a homemaker.  She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and the Knox County Farm Bureau.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday November 6, 2006 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with the Reverend Ernest Pizzamiglio, officiating.  Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday November 5, 2006 at Watson Funeral Home, with the rosary being prayed at 8 p.m.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Costa Catholic Academy.
