Helen "Kathy" Moscrip

Helen K. “Kathy” Moscrip, 57, of Galesburg, died at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Marigold Health Care Center. Kathy was born on June 24, 1950 in Galesburg, the daughter of James and Doris Carlton Knutson. Surviving Kathy are a son, Doug Moscrip of Clinton, IA; a daughter, Shawn (Bryan) DeJaynes of Galesburg; 2 brothers, Tim Morris of Galesburg and Steve Morris of Avon; a sister, Judy Knutson of Newnan, GA; and 2 granddaughters, Kelsey and Katie. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Barbara Swanson. Kathy had worked at Grady’s 2100 Club for several years. She then worked at Maytag, until its closure. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Watson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
