Henry E. Conlin

Henry E. Conlin, 63, of 1154 E. Losey St., Galesburg, died at 10:35 p.m. on April 5, 2007 at home. Henry was born on August 20, 1943 in Kewanee, Illinois the son of Bernard “Bud” and Amy E. Haffner Conlin. Surviving Henry are one son Henry (Kelley) Copeland of Brimfield; one daughter Connie (John) Stiles of Galva; one step son Rick Thomas of Oklahoma; 2 step daughters: Vicki Sallo and Dian Howell both of Galesburg; 2 brothers: Michael of Micanopy, Florida and Patrick of Kewanee; 3 sisters: Rosemary (Jess) Clark of Sandwich, Kay Marsh of Kewanee, and Eileen (Vernon) Engles of Galva; 4 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by one granddaughter. Henry worked as a union painter, then was a truck driver for many years until he retired in 2005. He enjoyed spending time at the Silver Front Tavern with his friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Watson Funeral Home. No funeral services are planned. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Kewanee. Memorials may be made to the family.
