Isiah Robinson

Isiah Robinson, 64, of Galesburg, died on Monday, October 1, 2018, 6:40 PM, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Isiah was born on December 8, 1953 in Chicago. He was the son of Isiah Hodges and Christine Robinson. He is survived by two children, Tracey Robinson and Isiah Robinson, Jr.  both of Chicago; seven sisters, Vanessa Johnson of Chicago, Diane Peters of Du Quoin, Josette Crisp of Riverdale, Hattie Washington and Debra Ojeda both of Las Vegas, NV, Ladena Robinson of Chicago, and Greta Robinson of Long Beach, CA, 11 grandchildren, Keshuwn Hopkins, Jessica Down, Asaiah Robinson, Kyesha Robinson, Isiah Robinson, Alicia Robinson, Jamilyia Robinson, Dahari Robinson, Isiyah Robinson, Anyla Robinson, Antaj Robinson, and his former wife, Sabrina Robinson.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rudolph Keys and Charles Robinson. Isiah worked as a clerk at Roy’s Liquor for 15 years, after that he worked as a laborer at Reliable Galvanizing Co. for 3 years. Isiah was an avid sports fan. He loved to watch all sports, especially, football, baseball and bowling. He was also a baseball player in his youth.  Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted with Watson-Thomas Funeral Home, Galesburg. Memorials may be given to Aperion Care, 1145 Frank St., Galesburg.
