Jackie L. “Jack” Hennenfent, Jr., 59, of Cameron, passed away at OSF St. Francis Medical Center on Monday, February 5, 2018. He was born July 30, 1958 in Galesburg to Jack, Sr. and the late Roberta (Stucker) Hennenfent. He married Tammi Severson on July 22, 1989 in La Crosse, WI. Jack was a graduate of Warren High School. He worked for BNSF Railroad for over 30 years as a conductor, retiring in 2017. He had a passion for snowmobiles-racing and leisure. He loved his children and family dearly. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole of Madison, WI and his son, Christopher of Collinsville. Also surviving are his parents, Jack, Sr. and Marge Hennenfent of Cameron; sisters, Dana Penn of Galesburg and Lori (Steve) Cairns of Cameron; brothers, Robert (Paulla) of Bloomington and Joel (Kristin) of Kansas City, MO; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta; two brothers, David “Dude” and Roger; and his grandparents. Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. A celebration of life will follow at the Thomas Legacy Center. No funeral services are planned. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg.
