Jennifer L. (Levin) Gavin

Jennifer Lynn (Levin) Gavin, 53, of Galesburg, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her home.

She was born March 2, 1972 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Donald B. and Carole A. (Long) Levin. Jennifer was reared and educated in Washington, Illinois. She worked as a taxi driver for American Ferrier for over five years. Jennifer married Anthony Gavin on July 24, 2023 in Rushville, Illinois.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Anthony Gavin of Mount Vernon, Illinois; one daughter, Halleigh; her sister, Brenda Hamand of Casey, Illinois; and one brother, Jeremy Levin. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jennifer was of the Christian faith. In her free time, she enjoyed watching videos on Tiktok and shopping, especially on her favorite site, Temu. Jennifer loved her job and enjoyed socializing with her cab customers. Her special bond with Brenda will be forever adored, they were the “best of besties”. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Cremation will be accorded. There are no services planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Watson Thomas Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
