Jenny Marie Park, 69, of Galesburg, died Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Marigold Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Galesburg.
She was born May 25, 1954 in Galesburg, the daughter of Albert Ardell and Burnice Juanita (Heaton) Allen. Jenny married Forrest A. Park, Sr. on September 23, 1980 in Galesburg.
Jenny is survived by her husband of 43 years, Forrest Park, Sr. of Rushville, Illinois; five sons: Forrest Jr., Theodore, David, Richard, and Donald Park; and one daughter, Jenny M. Park II. Also surviving is believed to be three brothers: Albert, Ronald, and Jerry Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers: Edwin, Herbert, and Donald Allen.
When she was younger, she was a member of Moose Lodge 115 in Galesburg. Jenny enjoyed her cats and collecting things.
Cremation will be accorded. Private burial of cremated remains will be at Abingdon Cemetery, Abingdon, Illinois. No services are planned at this time.
