Joan Johnson

Joan Johnson, 80, of Galesburg, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2104 at home. Joan was born March 19, 1934 in Monmouth, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Williams) Hawk.  She married Kenneth H. Johnson on June 19, 1953 in Monmouth.  Joan is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenny of Galesburg; one son, Kenneth N. (Theresa) Johnson of Coal Valley.  She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Cremation rites will be accorded.  Services and interment of cremated remains will be at a later date at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
