John Devlin Holt, 74, of Galesburg, died at 9:22 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. John was born in Galesburg, IL on January 31, 1942, the son of John Wesley and Dorothy Darlene Devlin Holt. John is survived by one brother, Jarrie Holt of Elgin, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. No public services are planned. Private family burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Rio Baptist Cemetery, Rio, IL. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.
