Joyce A. Miller

Joyce Anne Miller, 63, of Wataga, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 7:07 p.m. with her family by her side. Joyce was born on August 26, 1958 in Galesburg, the daughter of Clyde and Betty (Hillier) Bramlett. She married Curtis Miller on April 4, 1992 in Galesburg. Joyce is survived by her husband of 30 years; two sons, Bryan Baker of Dahinda and Shawn Baker of Wataga; a daughter, Courtney Baker-Payne of Galesburg; ten grandchildren, Benjamin, Aubrie, Gwen, Skyler, Colten, Matthew, Kalob, Trevor, Reece, and Alex; as well as a great granddaughter, Cooper Jo. She is also survived by two brothers, Tom (Judy) Bramlett of Galesburg and Richard (Debbie) Bramlett of MO; and a sister, Francis Bramlett of Galesburg. Along with her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by one brother, Brian Bramlett. Joyce went to Galesburg High School. She worked in construction at Laborers’ Local Union 309 in Des Moines, IA for over 20 years, retiring in 2019. Joyce loved quilting, gardening, and baking. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Cremation will be accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  Private family burial will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the family.
